Daily Dose of Jesus; Philippians 4:13

I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. -Philippeans 4:13

So I had a soccer tournament this weekend and our motto has always been "Control the ball, Charge the defense, Protect the goalie." Well we've had it for about three years now and it just wasn't pumping us up anymore so we decided out new motto would would be "4:13" referring to the verse above. We ended up getting third out of eighth in the tournament and we played better than normal.

Whenever I'm feeling down or think I can't do something, I think of this verse and it always boosts my confidence.

Daily of Jesus; Post One

If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

I believe this is saying that if you belive in Him and praise Him, whenever you're in time of need He will come and save you. Put God first. Nothing can be done in your life before you put Him ahead of you, your problems, and worries. Once He's in your life, you can get through anything because you will be saved and He will be there for you in your heart and He'll never leave your side.

The Beginning

So I have become very spiritual about my religeon and praising my Father . I wanted to start a blog so that I can teach others about the Word of God. Everyday, I will be posting a Bible verse and I will explain what I think is meant by the words of the verse. 

I won't let anything put me down about loving and living my life for Jesus because He reigns and He's the ruler of everything. He created this earth, the light, and everything on it.

I was inspired to write this blog because of my chorus teacher. He is my best friend and will always be there when I need him.
